    Trengwainton House is privately owned and therefore not accessible to visitors. However, you’ll get a nice view of it as you explore the gardens. The current building was built in the early 19th century. It is currently owned by the Bolitho family. The driveway leading to Trengwainton House runs alongside a stream garden where bog plants grow. The garden itself is a rambling series of rather dark 'rooms' and slightly overgrown woodland paths. There is little colour except on the edge of the drive running up /5().
